This is one of the most amazing sights in Burma. In the vicinity of Amarapura in the north of the country, the bridge of U Bein is a point of fall at the end of the day. It's an incredible site. In 1860 King Mindon decided to build a new capital, Mandalay. He literally moved his palace, brick by brick, by elephants.
Many beautiful teak columns were part of the old palace but had no place in the new design. With this scum, the mayor of Amarapura built a 1,200-meter bridge spanning a lake. At sunset, students and monks come to exchange news of the world and practice their English with the few tourists.
